Mthabisi Onias He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Journalism and Media studies which he acquired from NUST in 2016. He is also a Mandela-Washington Fellow for the Young African Leaders Initiative where he studied Business & Entrepreneurship at the University of New Mexico in the USA in 2017. He’s a part of the World Economic Forum – Global Shapers Community, Bulawayo hub. He graduated with an MA in Filmmaking from the University of the Creative Arts in the UK through the Chevening Scholarship 20/21 cohort.

Ndlovu is a multi-award-winning TV producer, filmmaker, and media entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in the video production industry. He has worked on projects such as reality and factual television shows, documentaries, photography, short films, online content, and music videos.

One of his notable works is the Pink & Purple TV talk show which has aired on local national television ZBC TV, JitTV channel on StarSat, and Play Afrika TV which is a VOD platform.

Onias and his work have received multiple awards and nominations such as the National Arts Merits Awards, Bulawayo Arts Awards, and Annual African Influencer Awards for Best Content Creator and Best Online Talk show awards. Some of his international accolades include an official selection into the Filmmaker Sessions Film Festival by Pinewood Studios in the UK and an Award from the Cine World Short Film Festival in Sri Lanka, both for his MA Filmmaking graduate short film titled Bitter Motives. The same short film earned him a special mention at the Student World Impact Film Festival.
