The Faculty has four departments: Architecture; Construction Management; Property Studies & Urban Design, and Quantity Surveying offering undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Project Management, Property Development and Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, and Urban Design. These programmes are designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to design, construct and manage sustainable and resilient habitats. Thus, our programmes respond to the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals and particularly Goal Number 11: “Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable”. In keeping with the Government of Zimbabwe’s “Education 5.0 Philosophy”, students will acquire innovative and entrepreneurial skills necessary to create jobs and provide innovative solutions to problems and challenges in the built environment.

The Faculty leverages its close ties with industry to keep abreast of new developments and to offer programmes that meet the needs of the architecture, construction, and real estate fields. New programmes are introduced from time to time in response to industry demand.
