Limited Places Available : MEng Manufacturing Systems and Opreations Mgt & MEng Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Mgt (Byo and Hre Cohort)

Prospective applicants are advised that limited place are still being offered for the above Masters Programmes. Applicants should indicate the preferred city of study between Harare (Hre) and Bulawayo (Byo).

  • The Byo cohort is on offered on a Block Release of 5 consecutive days on a full-time basis once a month per module.
  • The Hre cohort is offered on a 9 day Block of Weekend-Days and Evening classes during the week  per month per module.

Candidates must indicate which option (a) or (b) they are applying for.
(a) Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Systems and Operations Management
(b) Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Management


BULAWAYO
This programme takes a minimum of 24 months to complete and is offered in 10 weeks (one week per month) for the taught component of three semesters and a dissertation in the last semester.

HARARE
This programme takes a minimum of 24 months to complete and is offered in 10 blocks (Two successive weekends – daytime classes and the week evenings between the weekends in a month per course) for the taught component of three semesters and a dissertation in the last semester.


Entry Requirements

  • The normal entry requirement is a Bachelor’s Honours degree at the level of at least a Lower Second Division (2.2) in Industrial, Manufacturing, Production, or Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics and Fibre and Polymer Materials Engineering.
  • In some cases, qualifications deemed to be equivalent to the Honours award are accepted.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have at least two years industrial experience.
  • Shortlisted candidates may be interviewed.

Expected commencement date for the Harare Cohort is 14 July 2018 and 6 August 2018 for the Bulawayo cohort. 

A non-refundable application fee of US$20, in cash, must accompany the Application Form.
