International Conference on Communication and Information Science
The Faculty of Communication and Information Science at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) will be hosting its annual International Conference on Communication and Information Science in a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Environment. This conference will be held at Caribbea Bay Hotel in Kariba, Zimbabwe, on the 21st -25th of August 2017. This conference is a forum where information on community and industry based research carried out in both community and academic settings is shared and developed. It is also a platform for disseminating and exchanging information on the highlighted theme and subthemes.
The conference aims to engage in excellent theoretical and applied research in order to solve national, regional and global challenges and create linkages with communities,industry and commerce, local and central government, and, civil society in order to collectively attend to social and economic challenges. As global reliance on science,technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) driven solutions have continuously revolutionised almost all aspects of human development, practitioners, professionals,educators and industrialists in communication and information science should take centre stage in driving national developments.
