International Conference on Communication and Information Science
The Faculty of Communication and Information Science at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) will be hosting its annual International Conference on Communication and Information Science in a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Environment. This conference will be held at Caribbea Bay Hotel in Kariba, Zimbabwe, on the 21st -25th of August 2017. This conference is a forum where information on community and industry based research carried out in both community and academic settings is shared and developed. It is also a platform for disseminating and exchanging information on the highlighted theme and subthemes.

The conference aims to engage in excellent theoretical and applied research in order to solve national, regional and global challenges and create linkages with communities,industry and commerce, local and central government, and, civil society in order to collectively attend to social and economic challenges. As global reliance on science,technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) driven solutions have continuously revolutionised almost all aspects of human development, practitioners, professionals,educators and industrialists in communication and information science should take centre stage in driving national developments. 5th China Africa Water Resources Conference

The National University of Science and Technology (NUST), in collaboration with the UNESCO Chair Centre in Hydrogeology based at the University of the Western Cape, SA, International Research Center on Karst (IRCK) ,China; the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), SA, will be hosting the 5th China Africa water resources conference at Victoria Falls under the theme; “Towards the promotion of sustainable utilisation of water resources in developing countries” . The conference aims to provide a platform for internationally recognized scientists and policy makers to exchange ideas and best practices in terms of water resource management, as well as in presenting the most recent advances in water research. The conference will also provide a platform to share ideas on new approaches to problem-solving in current research areas in the hydrological sciences and promote networking among experts in different disciplines of hydrology and water management. The conference will be held at the Elephant Hills Hotel, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe from the 31st July to 02 August 2017.
