About The Conference

The conference seeks to consolidate the University’s strategic goals of generating knowledge, developing skills and seeking solutions through research to meet national imperatives and societal needs as well as creating and sustaining an internal environment conducive to effective learning, teaching, research, innovation and productivity. 

The premier event brings together researchers, academics and industry professionals from the fields of Renewable Energy, Materials Science, Geophysics, Astrophysics, Medical Physics, Optics and Photonics and Electronics and Instrumentation to share experiences and insights and to discuss the latest research developments in the various disciplines of Physics as well as to hear broader perspectives about where these research issues fit in the sustainable development of Zimbabwe.

The Conference Venue

Elephant hills hotel and resort is situated on a small hill overlooking the Zambezi River, 4km upstream from the Victoria Falls with advanced conferencing amenities for 500 and the only golf course in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
