About Course

The Network Systems Support course teaches the skills of a network technician: understanding of network hardware, installation, and troubleshooting. This course serves to expose the learner to basic concepts in networking. The learner will also acquire the skills required to design, build, manage, secure and optimize a basic network infrastructure.

Entry Requirements: Computer Systems Support Certification
Duration: 5-7 Weekends - Sat and Sun (Not continuous)
Lessons run from morning to late afternoon.

  1. Network Essentials
  2. LAN Switching Fundamentals
  3. Routing Fundamentals
  4. Infrastructure Services
  5. Infrastructure Maintenance


Assessment: Hands-on lab activities are an essential element of this course. Students are expected to pass both practical and written exams.

Certification: Qualifying students shall be certified by NUST-CCE and shall receive Certificates of Proficiency, Completion or Attendance depending on pass mark.
