 Short Biography

I am an experienced lecturer with experience spanning more than 10 years, at various institutions of higher learning. Over the years, I have taught multiple modules in the computing field. My teaching philosophy centres on the belief that education thrives in a nurturing, student-centred environment. Rooted in constructivism, I facilitate knowledge, guiding students to build understanding through engaging experiences. Learning, to me, is an active, contextual process of constructing knowledge. This approach values interactive environments where students learn through experiences and reflection. As an academic, I support, guide, and mentor students beyond traditional instruction. I also actively partake in research. My publications, featured in research journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings, focus on information privacy/security, cybersecurity, healthcare systems, emerging technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning), and digital transformation & ICT4D. Furthermore, I also partake in various community service engagements, driven by the desire to positively impact the society.
