Biography

Dr Dumisani Madzivanyati is a lecturer in the Department of Accounting Sciences. A member of the Faculty of Business and Economic Sciences since January 2009. He served as a Chairman of the Department of Accounting Sciences for two terms between 2013 till 2019. He has served the Faculty of Business and Economic Sciences as board member of Publications Committee, Board of higher degrees, and other various university boards. Dr D Madzivanyati spearheaded the launch of CTA program in collaboration with North West University in South Africa in 2015, ACCA Accreditation and teaching the same year. He’s a Board member of the Victoria Falls Carbon Tax Credits. He has broad experience in Business Consulting regionally and overseas especially business restructuring and tax matters. Dr D Madzivanyati is a seasoned academic with a passion for Strategic and Cost Management, Financial Markets and Business Development modules. He’s a Ph.D holder in Business Administration, (Phil). MSc Accounting and Finance, (UK). BA(Hons) Accounting and Finance, (UK). Certified Public Accountant (CPA)z. Dip Acc, (Z). He has various publications and papers in Social Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting, Economic Policies, Manufacturing Sectors and has attended conferences.
