Short Biography

Tenson Nyoni is a teacher by profession and has taught at all levels of the Education system. He is also an experienced administrator having been headmaster of both Primary and Secondary Schools in Zimbabwe. After attaining some qualifications in the Business disciplines, he joined the private sector and practiced as a Human Capital Manager for a chain of retail stores for seventeen years, with special focus on Training and Development and Industrial Relations. Dr Nyoni founded Advertele Consulting company and became its Lead Consultant in 2012. He the Chairman of the Institute of People Management of Zimbabwe (IPMZ) Matabeleland Branch and member of IPMZ National Council in the years 2003 to 2005. He was  the Chairman of the MEX (Management Express Forum) under the auspices of the British Council Libraries and Information Centre in Bulawayo in the years 2015 and 2016.

Courses Offered: Strategic Human Resource Management, Leadership Development Research Methods, Organisational Behaviour.

Research Interests: Any area in the field of business, contemporary social problems on gender mainstreaming, patriarchy and leadership.
