Biography

Mr Knowledge Jonasi is a Finance lecturer with 4 years university experience and he joined NUST in May 2024. He holds a MSc in Finance and Investment (NUST) and is currently studying for a PhD in Management Science specializing in Public Management-Public Administration with Durban University of Technology, In the lectureship journey, he has taught a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis and Financial Econometrics and Data Analysis. He is an active researcher and has already published several peer-reviewed articles in Scopus indexed journals, with research interests including Public Finance, Behavioral Finance, Financial Inclusion and Digital Finance.

Community Engagement

Knowledge is eager to be actively involved in departmental workshops and community awareness campaigns on finance related issues, having demonstrated high levels of community engagements in prior institutions he worked for. He once made a presentation at a workshop organized for the Roman Catholic Youths in Bindura in April 2024, where he taught the youths the importance of financial discipline and the benefits of investing in the financial markets.
