The Department of Agribusiness, Economics, and Management, within the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, focuses on equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate and lead in the agricultural business sector. The department combines principles of economics, business management, and agricultural science to prepare students for roles in agribusiness management, policy analysis, and rural development. Through a curriculum that blends theory with practical experience, students learn to manage agricultural enterprises, analyze market trends, develop sustainable business strategies, and understand the economic forces shaping global food systems. The department fosters an entrepreneurial mindset, preparing graduates to drive innovation and sustainability in the agriculture industry.

Undergraduate

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN AGRIBUSINESS, ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT

Entry Requirements

 

Normal Entry: Advanced Level passes in at least two Science and/or Commercial subjects or

relevant National Certificate.

Special Entry: At least a National Diploma (ND) or Higher National

Diploma (HND) in the field of Agriculture from an accredited institution.

Mature Entry: At least 23 years of age for females and 25 years of age for males with at

least 5 years relevant working experience at time of application. The applicant may be

subjected to an interview.
