The Department of Agricultural Engineering, part of the Faculty of Agricultural Science and Technology, is dedicated to bridging the gap between engineering and agriculture to meet the demands of modern food production. The department offers a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on key areas such as agricultural machinery, irrigation and water management, farm structures, renewable energy applications, and environmental sustainability. Students are trained in the design, development, and optimization of technologies that improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and enhance productivity across various agricultural sectors.

Undergraduate

BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING HONOURS DEGREE IN AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING

Entry Requirements

Normal Entry: ‘A’ Level Physics and Mathematics and any of Biology, Agriculture, Chemistry, Crop Science, Animal Science or any other Science subject at ‘A’ level

 

Special Entry: National Certificate (NC), National Diploma (ND) & Higher National Diploma

                         (HND) in any Agricultural field.

 

Mature Entry: 25 years of age at time of application plus relevant experience in the field of Agriculture or Engineering. The applicant may be subjected to an interview.
