The faculties of Applied Sciences and Communication and Information Science have had more applicants for Local and International conference attendance as compared to the other faculties. For Applied sciences, there were 8 applicants in 2014, with 5 in 2015 and 24 in 2016. For the Faculty of Communication and Information Science, there were 10 applicants in 2014 with the number increasing in 2016 to 23. There have been few conference applications from the Faculties of Industrial Technology, Medicine, Science and Technology Education and Built Environment over the years up to 2016.
