Applicants should have relevant subject passes at ‘A’ Level, all applicants must have 5 ‘O’ Level passes including English Language and Mathematics at grade C or better except for degree programmes offered in the Faculty of Communication and Information Science and in the Department of Nursing and Midwifery Sciences. However, in the Faculty of Communication and Information Science and in the Department of Nursing and Midwifery Sciences, having also passed Mathematics will be a distinct advantage.

Special Entry
Applicants with a National Diploma or a Higher National Diploma (HEXCO), or equivalent, and with 5 ‘O’ Level passes including English Language and Mathematics will be considered.

Mature entry
Persons who are at least 25 years of age on the first day of the Academic Year in which admission is sought and who are not eligible for entry under the normal or special entry may apply for mature entry provided that:
  • Applicants must have passed at least 5 O’ level subjects including English Language and Mathematics and must have demonstrated potential, suitability for University studies by virtue of their attainments and/or relevant work experience.
  • Normally, applicants should have completed their full-time school or college education at least 5 years before the start of the Academic year in which admission is sought.

Zimbabwean Nationals

Normal application
  • A non-refundable application fee of ZWL 850.00 must be paid before submission. The closing date for normal applications is 28 May 2021.
Late application
  • Late applications will be considered up to 4 June 2021. The late application fee is ZWL 1275.00.

International applicants

Normal application
  • A non-refundable application fee of US$20 must be paid before submission. The closing date for normal international applications is 28 May 2021.
Late application
  • Late applications will be considered up to 4 June 2021. The late application fee is US$$30.

Sports Science and Technology or Physical Education and Mass Display or Sport Management or Biology or Food Science or Food Technology and Design, and any other science subject.

Special Entry: Candidates who have successfully completed a Diploma in Sports Science or Physical Education or its recognised equivalent may apply.

SSC

Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Public Health

Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Nursing and Midwifery

General Nurse with a Diploma in Midwifery and Registered as a Midwife. Be registered with the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe and have a valid Practising Certificate with 2 years work experience post midwifery qualification.
