RISK AND COMPLIANCE
Mr David N. Sibalwa -Chief Risk Officer
The Risk Management and Compliance unit is tasked with ensuring the University is proactive and responsive to the ever-changing risk landscape and to manage the emerging risks that are ubiquitous within the environment in which the University operates. This includes ensuring the risk parameters are clearly defined within the University's Risk Appetite and driving the key resilience-building activities within the University. The unit also ensures that there is a well-designed and managed insurance protection program to protect the University assets and ensure that the university will continue to operate as a going concern as all material risks are always being sufficiently monitored and responded to.
The key deliverables of the unit are to ensure that the university builds its capacity to support a risk management framework that will enhance and build a robust and resilient organisation that will continue to deliver world-class education and produce highly regarded graduates and alumni now, and well into the future.
