Master of Science (MSc) In Records & Archives Management (Part-Time, Block-Release)
Limited places are still available for late applications for admission into the above programme in the Department of Records and Archives Management. Applications are invited from candidates who meet the specified entry qualifications.
This is a two-year, part-time Postgraduate degree programme offered on block-release basis.
Entry Requirements
- To be considered for admission a candidate must: Hold an Upper Second Class (2.1) Honours Degree in Records & Archives Management; Records Management; Archival Science; Information Studies; History or Heritage Studies from an accredited University or higher education institution.
- Candidates with a Lower Second Class (2.2) Honours Degree in the above areas will be required to have at least two years post-qualification experience.
- Candidates with any other good first degree in the field other than those listed in section in the first requirement above will be required to have at least two years post-qualification practical experience in a records and archives establishment for consideration to be admitted into the Master of Science Degree programme.
Applicants should complete the application forms and submit their applications accompanied by the proof of payment of the late application fee of $30, together with certified copies of the following documents:
- Birth certificate
- National ID
- Bachelor's degree certificate
- Bachelor's degree transcript
- Any other relevant post-graduate certificate or diploma qualification(s)
- A tentative research proposal with a topic that will be studied at the MSc level.
