Notice is hereby given of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) First (1st) Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will be held as a hybrid event on Friday, 24 February 2023 starting at 0900 hours at the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development Headquarters in Harare. The hosting of the AGM is in compliance with the Public Entities Corporate Governance Act, Chapter [10:31], and will be held for the purpose of transacting the following business:
AGENDA
1. Financial Statements and Reports
To receive, consider and adopt the Audited Financial Statements and reports of the Auditors for the Financial Year ended 31 December 2021.
2. Council Matters
- To appoint or re-appoint members of Council.
- To approve remuneration of Council.
3. Auditors
- To approve Auditors’ fees for the 2022 external audit.
- To confirm the appointment of Auditors for National University of Science and Technology for the year ending 31 December 2022.
4. Minister’s Address
To receive the address by the Honourable Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development, Professor dr. Amon Murwira.
