RE: Invitation to 28^th Graduation Ceremony

The University is pleased to inform you that the 28^th Graduation Ceremony will be held on Friday the 11^th of November 2022, at the Ceremonial Hall main campus.

 

Graduation Fee 

Undergraduates: The graduation fee is USD130 of which USD70 is payable in USD only, and the balance of USD60 can be payable in RTGS equivalent interbank rate. 

Postgraduates: The graduation fee is USD140 of which USD70 is payable in USD only, and the balance of USD70 can be payable in RTGS equivalent interbank rate.

Outstanding Tuition fees

Only graduands that have fully paid the tuition fees and graduation fees will take part in the proceedings.

 

Academic Dress

Graduands will be expected to be in full graduation regalia, that is, a gown, cap, hood and wear a face mask. Graduands who have fully paid their graduation fees are to collect regalia at the NUST Innovation and Business Development offices at the campus. Please bring proof of payment of the Graduation fee on collection.

 

Rehearsals

Rehearsals will be held on Thursday the 10^th of November 2022 at the Ceremonial Hall at 1100 hours. Attendance at the rehearsal is mandatory for all graduands, this will ensure that graduands know exactly what to do on Graduation Day.

 

Invitation Cards

Graduands are advised to collect their invitation cards on the rehearsal day (10 November 2022) from the Admissions and Students Records Offices. Please bring proof of payment of the Graduation fee. Each Graduand will receive two invitation cards for their guests.

 

Punctuality

Punctuality is essential for all Graduands and Guests. Graduands should be seated by 08.30 am, those who arrive late may not be allowed to attend.

 

Photographers

Only authorised National University of Science and Technology photographers will be allowed to take photographs

during the Ceremony and no other photographers will be allowed.

 

Restricted Items

Please note that the following items are not allowed into the graduation venue: lipsticks and perfume containers,

sharp objects, knives, ballpoint pens and cameras.     

 

Safety Precautions Against Covid-19 Pandemic

ONLY vaccinated Graduands will be allowed into the graduation venue. Graduands must bring their vaccination

cards. Kindly note that your guest must also bring a vaccination card. Graduands and their guests are expected to

wear a face mask throughout the graduation ceremony.
