Tips on how to have a productive day

WORK SMART NOT HARDER: Tips for Having a Productive Day

“If you’re walking down the right path and you’re willing to keep walking, eventually you’ll make progress” -Barak Obama.

Sometimes getting off on the wrong foot can lead you down the wrong path and you end up in a losing battle with time. Here are some tips that will help you have a happy and productive day:

  1. Get organized: Start your day by gathering your thoughts and getting a plan of attack together.
  2. Limit distractions: Do not attend unnecessary meetings.
  3. Take the initiative: Do not sit on tasks that are easy to complete but have stayed open for almost infinity. Get them done and focus on the bigger fish.
  4. Prioritize your work: Do not fall for the myth that looking busy and being active is equal to being productive. Make time to think about what you are doing.
  5. Take breaks: People get fatigued if they focus for too long or work without a break.
  6. Create a daily schedule: Do things at certain times of the day, every day.
